Mr. Bell has represented clients in over half of the 58 counties of California in the lower courts, Appellate Courts, and the California Supreme Court, as well as the juvenile court system and  Administrative Law Hearings.He was the directing attorney for CRLA from 1966 to 1969. He has extensive experience in both criminal and civil law, and has represented such diverse groups as the Healdsburg Police Officer's Union,  teachers,  farm workers and supporters to save the Santa Rosa Community Hospital .  He has successfully stood up to illegal actions against prisoners and fought effectively for impoverished and/or unpopular groups and individuals to secure their rights under the law and the US Constitution Bill of Rights.  His legal research and analysis is thorough and has resulted in establishing precedents in California trial and appellate courts, including the California Supreme Court.
